Totally conscious, and apropos of nothing, you come to see me.
Is someone here? I ask.
The moon. The full moon is inside your house. …I’m in here, comes a voice from the house, but we aren’t listening.
We’re looking up at the sky.
…Lo, I am with you always means when you look for God,
God is in the look(def: the appearance of a person) of your eyes,
in the thought of looking, nearer to you than your self…
There’s no need to go outside (def: the external side or surface of something)
Be melting snow. Wash yourself of yourself.
Be the melting snow.
Wash away the glacier-like and frosted over idea of the flesh self… thaw and unearth the brilliant light and bursting love of the burgeoning Divine self.
Behold, by turning your gaze upward…from the perspective of your now puddled persona…you, once and for all, will be looking fully into the eyes of theseason-less God-like self…the I AM who is with you always and forever.
Rumi once said…”You are not a drop in the ocean…you are the entire ocean in a drop”
Perhaps the “you” that he is referring to… so long ago… is the Beloved within.
Living water is a beautiful image used to describe the Divine…aka the Sacred Breath Self…the way “It” flows from the “mouth” of the God Sea…winding throughout the ages…filling and nourishing every branching capillary and depleted vein that runs down the center of humanity… dropping into every man’s lung-like pond.
“Water is necessary to sustain a man’s life…and the LIFE that IS the inner Divine Self, is necessary to sustain mankind.
My love is tender… my embrace is full. Know that you are right in my eyes. I understand your every thought, every feeling…I Am compassion…I Am your best friend and I care for you like no other. You are my love… my love heals all and everything.
The Divine housed within our flesh is the friendship, the kinship, the harmony, the union or co-union of your spiritual and physical being. You only have to look within to meet the Divine Beloved you… the true eternal and internal Spiritual self.
“Knock, and he’ll open the door. Vanish, and he’ll make you shine like the sun. Fall, and he’ll raise you to the heavens. Become nothing, and he’ll turn you into everything” – Rumi
I’m sure you guys have heard of Rumi…the 13th- century Persian poet and Sufi mystic.Well, I am a huge fan. He has such an amazing collection of written works including poems and quotes…you might enjoy checking them out in your spare time.
The above quote is really speaking to my soul…probably because it closely mirrors the vision of the divine Beloved dwelling spiritually within us. By you directing the spotlight in the divine Beloved’s direction…He, in return, will make you shine.
Personally, I love to read the writings of Rumi, and any other sacred text for that matter, from the point of view of the Beloved self. All sacred text is describing you and your journey as the divine, awakened Beloved.
Basically, what I’m trying to say is that sacred text was written by the inspiration of God’s one holy spirit. To understand it’s meaning it must be read in the spirit that it was written…do this by tapping into the mindset of the eternal Beloved identity that lives within. See everything by this new perspective. This is when “enlightenment” happens and this will be transformative to your world.
Just wanted to put that out there. Have a Beloved day!
